Rebekah has been working as a translator for over 20 years. She began her career at Reuters in 1996, before turning freelance in 2004.
Rebekah has an MA in Literary Translation (UEA), a PG Dip in Translating (Salford University) and a BA Hons in French and German (Birmingham University).
In 2011, Rebekah was awarded a mentorship by the British Centre for Literary Translation, during which she was mentored by the Dutch to English translator David Colmer.
Rebekah is a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI), and is accredited in all three of her language combinations. In 2011 she was awarded the ITI's John Hayes Prize.
