Rebekah has been working as a translator for over 20 years. She began her career at Reuters in 1996, before turning freelance in 2004.
Rebekah has an MA in Literary Translation (UEA), a PG Dip in Translating (Salford University) and a BA Hons in French and German (Birmingham University).
In 2011, Rebekah was awarded a mentorship by the British Centre for Literary Translation, during which she was mentored by the Dutch to English translator David Colmer.
Rebekah was a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI) from 2000 until 2017, during which time she gained accreditation in all three of her language combinations. In 2011 she was awarded the ITI's John Hayes Prize.
